Our Mission/Philosphy

Our Lady of Las Vegas Catholic School is committed to the fundamental obligation to teach and to live the Gospel message and foster Catholic identity, while promoting academic excellence. As compassionate, ethical, and competent individuals, our students will be prepared for a lifetime of service to God and a quest for knowledge. 
 

Be it known to all who enter here, that Christ is the reason for this school. He is the unseen, but ever present teacher in the classrooms, the model of its faculty, and the inspiration of its students. 

Drawing from the long history of Catholic tradition and reputation for excellence, we the educators of Our Lady of Las Vegas Catholic School, are committed to creating an atmosphere of encourgagement, trust, and mutual respect through dedicated teaching and meaningful learning. 

While the parents are the primary educators, the school shares with parents, the responsibility of developing a faith in God that is viable and meaningful for each child. We strive on a daily basis to promote academic excellence in all areas of the school curriculum by developing active Catholics who are responsible citizens with gloabl awareness, effective communicators, life-long learners, and culturally aware individuals.
